Elizabeth Calderón Lüning serves as the Mission Lead for Democracy and Technology and Research Practice Lead at The Democratic Society. Her career is distinguished by her profound engagement in digital policy, urban participation, and participatory democracy, establishing her as a seasoned researcher and practitioner. Previously, she contributed to the Weizenbaum Institute in Berlin as a Doctoral Researcher, focusing her efforts on addressing issues related to inequality and digital sovereignty. She is also a co-founder and served as Director of Common Grounds e.V., where she honed her skills in process design and organisational development.
